Why I'm building this
I spent five hours in the most beautiful place I'd ever been. I barely spoke a word.
In 2025 I booked a cooking class on a mountain outside Florence. I went alone. I watched the sun go down over the hills. I learned to make pizza from scratch. I sat at a table surrounded by people who all came with someone.
I flew home and couldn't stop thinking about it. Not the class. Not Florence. Just that feeling... of being somewhere extraordinary and having nobody to share it with. That's why I'm building NowOr.
I'm Mohammed. I'm 23. I'm a law grad from Toronto who felt alone at the wrong moment and decided to do something about it. NowOr connects solo travellers through Pods, small group activities with strangers in the same city. Coffee. Hiking. A late dinner with whoever else didn't want to eat alone tonight.

What is a Pod?
A Pod is a small group activity created by a solo traveller, joined by solo travellers in the same city.
Coffee at 9am with three strangers who are also alone in Toronto. A sunset hike with two people who landed the same day as you. A late dinner with whoever else didn't want to eat alone tonight.
No swiping. No matching. Just a time, a place, and people who chose not to be alone.
